PARTY CULTURE

The British like party. That is why there are a number of shops selling special customs in many places. Party time is irreplaceable and usual, especially for the youngsters. They celebrate all happy festivals with beer and party even though they may not know what that festival such as the St. Patrick’s Day is about.

This culture amazes me. As a city girl since I born, I found it inconvenient and lacking entertainment at the beginning. Nevertheless, I must admit I prefer this simplistic way of living, which is more relaxed. People do not live for money only but much more than that. This philosophy wins my preference. However, I am not very keen on their party culture as I think, other than drinking, there must be some other ways to celebrate and relax.

Costume shops are common in Western countries.

The performers in the parade of St. Patrick's Day are singing cheerfully and waving.

The crowds are waiting for the parade of St. Patrick's Day excitedly.
