WHY I CHOOSE
THE UK AND SUSSEX
 

As a Hong Kong Politics student, I hope that I can enrich my knowledge in international issues as well as the Western theories and perspectives in politics. The University of Sussex is one of the top universities in the UK in Politics and International Relations. To me, it definitely is a good option for my exchange programme.

 

 

I took the following courses during my stay:

1. Globalization and Global Governance

2. Politics of Governance: the European Union

3. Security and Insecurity in Global Politics

4. The Politics of Foreign Policy

 

 

In the Globalization and Global Governance, I successfully challenged my weakness, economy. In the meantime, I stepped out from my comfort zone and learnt about European Union. Also, I studied global issues in global perspectives, which fulfilled my intended learning goals. What is more, I did not simply learn about Politics but also other disciplines such as Sociology, Economy and Global Studies. The interdisciplinary study widens and comprehends my thinking.
